Process:

Those interested in home schooling in Chesterfield must complete the Chesterfield County application and submit it (may be filled in online with Acrobat Reader, then printed) along with a curriculum plan for approval to:

High school-aged home instruction students may participate in Advanced Placement (AP) and Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) examinations. Please contact the guidance department of your child's base high school prior to October 1 for PSAT registration information and prior to March 1 for AP test registration information. Financial assistance to low-income students is available.
