Adult Continuing Education registration begins Aug. 4

The Adult Continuing Education Department of Chesterfield County Public Schools will begin registration for fall classes at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 4.

A program guide will be available online by July 30 with information about classes and how to register. To view the online program guide, go to chesterfield.k12.va.us, click “Community,” then “Adult Continuing Education,” then “Program Guide.” Printed copies of the guide will be available in early August in schools, libraries and school and county government buildings.

Three classes in workforce training — nursing assistant, dental assistant and heating, ventilation and air conditioning — begin Aug. 11. Those interested in enrolling in one of these courses need to register Aug. 4 or soon after.

Adult Continuing Education offers workforce training, enrichment classes, General Education Development studies and English for Speakers of Other Languages classes. For more information, call 768-6140.
