Presentation
Beulah Elementary is one of four Chesterfield elementary schools to adopt the nationally recognized Olweus Bully Prevention Program. To kick off the program this year, all Beulah students will participate in assemblies: grades K-2 at 10 a.m. and grades 3-5 at 2:30 p.m. Students will be introduced to anti-bullying rules as they watch teachers, administrators, bus drivers, cafeteria workers and faculty members act out bullying scenarios.

The UR the Future Leadership Program will connect 18 eighth-grade students with faculty and students from the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies. Five sessions are scheduled throughout the year during which Providence Middle students will work with University of Richmond students and faculty in workshops, team-building exercises and breakout sessions designed to explore the concepts of leadership.

Relay for Life
Hening Elementary students in grades 2-5 who have experienced cancer in some way are invited to meet the third Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m. This is not a counseling session but is a time for the children to support each other and become ambassadors for Relay for Life.
