Agenda Minutes Meeting Schedule

School Board generally meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, except in November and December, when it meets on the second Tuesday only, and July and August when only one monthly meeting is scheduled.

Regular meetings begin at 7 p.m. in the county public meeting room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road. Executive sessions for student discipline and other matters as allowed by law are scheduled, as needed, for 5 p.m. on meeting days and held at the School Administration Building, 9900 Krause Road.

Regular meetings are broadcast live on Comcast channel 17, and announcements are provided to the media when special meetings are scheduled. The meetings are re-broadcast the Monday following the meeting at 9 a.m., and the Tuesday following the meeting at 7 p.m. The School Board also holds quarterly work/planning sessions which are open to the public.

Meeting agendas are available at this site and also at each school and the School Administration Building at 9900 Iron Bridge Road at least one day prior to the meeting.

Following is the procedure by which the public may speak before the School Board at regular meetings:

Persons wishing to comment on action items must notify the School Board Clerk's office by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting; they will be heard when each item is considered.

2. Persons wishing to be heard during the public comment period(s) must notify the School Board Clerk's office by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Comments during the public comment period(s) are limited to items not on the agenda.

3. Individuals shall limit their comments to three minutes.

Comments on an action item shall be relevant to that item. Comments during the public comment period(s) shall be relevant to Chesterfield County Public Schools.

5. Comments that contain profanity, vulgar language, or are likely to disrupt the orderly conduct of the meeting are prohibited.
